DD Foxx is a multi-talented young Lebanese artist based out of Dubai, that is quickly becoming a household name in the U.A.E. She started singing at an early age developing her craft by listening to TV commercials and jingles, and watching music videos, singing along and mimicking what she saw and heard. DD Foxx knew in her heart that she was destined to pursue a career in the entertainment business. As a singer-songwriter and recording artist, DD Foxx has an undeniable gift of music that appeals to the youth and young adults, and continues to impact the growth of her fan base. Her music would be described as a mixture of Pop, Dance, R&B, Rap and Funk with a Middle Eastern flavor.
With her debut CD "Had To Be Me", released through Virgin Megastores, DD Foxx was ranked #3 in the Urban & Pop genre of the Top 20 Best Selling Albums by U.A.E. Artists in the past 10 years. DD Foxx is presently in studio working on her sophomore album. A new single is scheduled to be released early 2016 in the U.S. and Canada through her own newly formed record label and media company 971 Entertainment Group Inc., a joint venture with North American partnership. The company is based out of Montreal, Canada with offices in Toronto and Dubai. DD is passionate about leading the way to inspire more women from her region to follow in her footsteps. While embracing her cultural heritage, she steps out of the box of the traditional artist from her country and sets the stage to become the first female artist from the U.A.E. to hit the North American market with a U.S. swag!
DD Foxx had the pleasure and opportunity to work with and host events for an array of international Brands including: Etisalat, Mastercard, Samsung, Dubai Airports, Emirates Airlines, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dubai, Paris Hilton, Max Factor, Huawei, Disney Middle East, MBC, Al Rawabi, Mubadala and AL Futtaim - City Centre. Some of DD’s past highlights include being chosen as one of four Dubai artists to showcase for Quincy Jones, Will.i.am and Timbaland as part of the Dubai Music Week. Her first music video was choreographed by Luther Brown (Janet Jackson - Unbreakable Tour, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Diddy and other notables).
